European road network, based on OpenStreetMap. OpenStreetMap does not include elevation data, so this is sourced from OpenTopoData/EUDEM. The elevation data is quite coarse (25-meter resolution), so inaccuracies should be expected.

The necessary road attributes are not always present in OpenStreetMap. Missing speed limits are estimated based on country-specific rules; lane codes and road widths are interpolated where absent (or, in the worst case, default values are used).

Recommended for all road traffic outside Norway, as well as trams and subways where no separate networks exist for them. Slightly longer calculation times should be expected when using this road network due to its size.
